Jan 1985 - graduated from Technische Universität München TUM as Mechanical Engineer, specialized in Design and Development
Feb 1985 - joined Hoechst CeramTec GmbH in Marktredwitz Department Techanical Engineering, designed special purpose machinery for ceramic manufacturing processes
1987/88 - designed and set up a Production line in a CeramTec Factory nearby Marktredwitz
1989 - assigned Production Manager in Business Unit Substrates
1998 -1999 - joined in USA the Laurens (SC) facility, helped streamlining a production line and increase output by 5
2001 - assigned at company headquarter in Plochingen, streamlining the production for Business Unit Mechanical Applications and implementing self directed work groups
2003 -2004 - assigned at the Lauf (Germany) facility as task force manager to ramp up a new product from laboratory scale to 24/7 production within 3 months
2004 - vice manager production and part time leader of new implemented Process Development group (4 people), mostly dealing with metallized ceramics, special ceramic coolers, other “impossible” ideas, feasibility studies for new ideas
2005 – 2021 full time manager of the Application Development team (12 people)
